At just 26 years old, Jeferson left Ecuador and came to the United States alone to pursue an education, build a future, and create opportunities for himself and his family.

Instead, he is now facing the fight of his life.

In 2025, Jeferson was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of stage 4 cancer. After six months of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and countless hospital visits, he recently received devastating news: the cancer has spread to his brain.

Despite everything, Jef continues to show up for treatment and keep fighting. But one of the hardest parts of this journey is that he is facing it far away from the people he loves most.

We're raising money to help cover his ongoing treatments, medical expenses, daily living costs, and to help bring his family from Ecuador to Los Angeles so they can be by his side during this critical time.
